The Princess of Wales, 40, has been “talking about wanting another baby” for a while and has been convinced Prince William to get on board, according to insiders with Our weekly.
“Kate has been talking about wanting another child for a while,” a source told the magazine. “She’s always wanted four kids, and while William was initially very happy with three, she managed to twist his arm.” The royals are already future kings raising their children Prince George9, Princess Charlotte7 years old and youngest Prince Louis4.
Kate is not shy to admit her baby fever in the past. She jokes about the influence the little ones have on her at an event in February 2022, every Our weekly, where she said, “William was always worried about me seeing kids under the age of 1,” admitting she was “very brooding” about family planning afterward. “I came home and said, ‘Let’s have another one,’ she said.
Back in 2021, an insider told Our weekly that the fourth child is definitely on the horizon for the royal family, but that plan was shelved because of the COVID pandemic. They also relieved some of Prince William’s reluctance, revealing while he initially said “three children is more than enough” and “overwhelmed” at the prospect of having more children, Kate’s “wish” was above all.
A source from Buckingham Palace said: “The thought of having four makes him feel overwhelmed. Our weekly. “But Kate’s desire to have another child inspired him, and ultimately, he loves and cherishes the secure family environment he never had growing up. Why not make it bigger? After taking a moment to think about it, he is on the same page and very excited about the future.”
The family is more important than ever to the family, after the death of the matriarch Queen Elizabeth II in September. Her death brought Prince William and his estranged brother together Prince Harry. And now that the boys are reunited, Kate is said to be eager to propose an “olive branch” for Harry and his wife Meghan Markle when Kate and Wills visit the United States later this year.
