Kanye West suspended from Twitter after swastika post | US News

Kanye West has been suspended from Twitter after he tweeted a swastika image, hours after he praised Hitler and made protest jokes during an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

The 45-year-old American rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye, was only allowed to return to the social networking platform two weeks ago after he has been banned on other objectionable posts.

Elon Muskbillionaire who owns Twitter, confirmed West has been suspended for violating its policy against inciting violence.

He shared an image of a swastika tagged with the Star of David.

Reply one Twitter user asked him to “fix Kanye”, Musk said: “I tried my best.

“Even so, he is violating our rules against inciting violence. The account will be suspended.”

West posted a screenshot showing he has been locked out of his Twitter account for 12 hours on Truth Social, the social media platform created by Donald Trumpformer US president.

It comes after the West sparked further controversy by praising Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in an interview with American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Thursday.

“You’re not Hitler, you’re not a Nazi, so don’t deserve to be called that and demonized,” Jones told West.

“Well, I see good things about Hitler too,” replied the controversial American singer, his face covered by a black mask.

“I love everyone, and the Jews wouldn’t say to me, ‘you can love, you know, us’… every human being has something of value that they already have. brought, especially Hitler.”

His Twitter account was previously locked after he posted that he was “going to die with 3 OVER Jew” before accusing him of not being “anti-Semitic because black people are actually also Jew”.

He also accused record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs of being controlled by “Jews” in an Instagram post.

West was locked from Instagram for 30 days after violating their policies.

He has also made a number of other controversial remarks recently, including suggesting slavery is “an option” and calling COVID-19 vaccine “mark of the beast”.

His latest Twitter ban comes after right-wing social media platform Parler said West would no longer buy the company.

Parent company Parlement Technologies said in a statement that both parties “agreed” to terminate their intent to purchase by mid-November.
