Kai Sotto scoreless, Adelaide 36ers clobbered by OKC Thunder
MANILA, Philippines – Kai Sotto played cautiously in his second exhibition game against an NBA team as the Adelaide 36ers suffered a crushing 131-98 defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday (Manila time). ) at the Paycom Center.
The 7-foot-3 Filipino center-back barely showed his presence as he missed all three shots and had four rebounds in nine minutes of play as Adelaide overcame NBLxNBA’s exhibition games. with a defeat to OKC.

The Thunder kept the 36ers to 11-36 firing three points, as the NBA team dominated the Aussie club from the start with a 27-9 start and leading to 40, 108-68, following Bazley’s dismissal in the 55-second mark of third period.
Craig Randall leads Adelaide with 27 points, seven assists and three rebounds, while Robert Franks has 20 points and seven pounds as they bid farewell to NBA friendlies.
The 36ers annoy the Phoenix Suns134-124, last Monday where Sotto played quality minutes with 11 points in a 3/6 shoot to go with two rebounds, two steals and an assist.
The Sotto and 36ers kick off the Australian National Basketball League’s 2022-23 season with the Tasmanian JackJumpers next Thursday at the Adelaide Recreation Centre.
