Kahramanmaras earthquake: Another massive earthquake strikes Turkey, Syria | World News

NEW DELHI: Hours after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake earthquake killed more than 1,900 people in Turkey and Syria, two more major earthquakes rocked the region on Monday.
Second magnitude 7.6 earthquake hits southeastern Turkey Kahramanmaraş regional, national emergency and disaster management agency (AFAD) speak.
It occurred at a depth of 7 km, AFAD said, adding that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Elbistan region of Kahramanmaras province.
Then, a third magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck central Turkey, according to the USGS.
Earlier on Monday, a large earthquake also hit the area, leaving hundreds dead and thousands injured.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Kahramanmaras province, southeastern Turkey, and could be felt as far away as Cairo. It caused the inhabitants of Damascus to rush into the streets and awaken those sleeping in beds in Beirut.
