Gabrielle’s Union and her husband Dwyane Wade overwhelmed by their adorable four-year-old daughter, Kaavia at the Disney premiere strange worldwas held in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, November 14th. Two superstar parents, are style icon In their own right, got paid when their fashionista walked the red carpet in the cutest little black quilted dress. Holding her father in one hand, Kaavia holds a small pink purse in the other, to really highlight her stylish style.
Trying to keep up with her little daughter by donning a gorgeous couture gown, Gabrielle looked sensational in front of photojournalists. Her pink ensemble featuring a deep neckline and rose embellishments is the talk of town, while her NBA legend looks pretty dapper in a dark vest, top turtleneck and a pair of pink sneakers to match his wife and daughter!
Meanwhile, Gabrielle may be getting ready to try on her Clover cheerleader uniform again. The actress, 49, recently hinted at a possible sequel to the iconic 2000 teen comedy Bring it in, in which she is by Kirsten Dunst Isis school rival. Responding to a tweet from a fan celebrating the film’s 22nd anniversary, Gabrielle wrote, “Hmmmm, so Isis might have a #BringItOn teen.”
Gabrielle, who also share Zaya14, with Dwyane, star in bring it in with Kirsten. However, Gabrielle recently shared that she has some regrets about her role in the film. During a visit Good Morning Americashe expressed concern about “silenting” her character Isis, for whom she also wrote an apology letter in her book “You Got Anything Stronger?”
In the film, Isis learns her team’s choreography has been stolen by a rival team, which would greatly upset anyone, but Gabrielle says she feels she can’t play that way. “Black girls are not allowed to be angry. Definitely not showing anger, and I gagged her,” she explained. “I silenced her and made her a nice, kind leader, and I’m still a villain in that movie. I did all those shape changes to a character, and then I realized that I was doing it to myself, too. I didn’t allow myself to reach my full potential.
With that in mind, Gabrielle says she’s definitely going to change her performance. “I would allow her to have all of her humanity, and part of being a full human being is the ability to express rage when harmed,” she details. “When you don’t really allow yourself to fully express your feelings and you silence your own feelings, it makes people think, ‘Maybe what I did wasn’t that bad.’ I will give her all the anger.
While she may have some apprehensions about how she handled the initial production, Gabrielle is clearly up for the sequel. Even before her cryptic tweet, she came up with the idea for the sequel in an interview. Zoom reunion in August 2020 with Kirsten and the director Peyton reed. “The impact, 20 years later, that this film has had and continues to have, is amazing,” Gabrielle said. “So anything that we can one day come up with, I mean, Kirsten, maybe we’re like co-leaders of the PTA. I do not know.”
