A talent field of 10 junior athletics will appear in the GI Spinaway S. feature Sunday in Saratoga.
Kaling (Realistic jokes) will exit the following rail ‘Rising star TDN’ debut performance for Todd Pletcher at Spa on July 24.
Former Pletcher D. Wayne Lukas boss will also be very well represented by GIII heroine Adirondack S. August 7 Naughty Gal (Into naughty). The duo share six co-led Spinaway wins.
“I love it and I work for him,” Lukas said of facing the aforementioned Hall of Fame coach. “Let’s just hope that we keep it in the family. On many occasions when we were in the same field and they were heading home, otherwise it looked like we could win over my wife and I would both start screaming for Todd. It is a very gratifying thing.”
Only Cindy (Evenly), the undefeated heroine of GIII Schuylerville S. on the opening day, took the lead in the latter part on the fifth post.
Magic wheel (Into naughty), recent profile these pages, also perfect on two attempts, were last seen on the run with Churchill’s Debutante S. on 4 July.
Sunday’s other classified action includes: Del Mar’s GIII Green Flash H. for grass-court sprinters, featuring the race defense winner and GI Breeders’ runner-up. Cup Turf Sprint in 2021 Lieutenant Dan (Grazen); and GIII Torrey Pines S. for 3-year-olds.
GII National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame winner S. Ready to Purrform (Kitten’s Joy), meanwhile, covered the $750,000 GIII Giants Fan Derby at the Kentucky Downs.
