Justin Brownlee claims third PBA Best Import award
MANILA, Philippines–Definitely a winner for Barangay Ginebra’s tireless gameplay and extensive campaign, Gin Kings import resident Justin Brownlee took home the title of Best Import on Friday. for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The American forward won his third Outstanding Import award after averaging 28.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 1 ,6 tackles during the mid-season rollout.
Brownlee beat San Miguel’s Devon Scott and Magnolia’s Nick Rakocevic and added another feather to his already stacked hat in the top pro tournament. He was awarded before Game 4 of the series against the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

He won 1,289 points from a voting system that involved stats points, season scribes and the players themselves.
Brownlee is also set to mark another major milestone in its quest to become a Citizen naturalization is nearing completion. All that remains for the Atlanta, Georgia native to become an official Filipino is the President’s signature on House Bill 6224.
