Just so you know, the upcoming ‘Miyamoto’ game has nothing to do with the Legendary Creator
Given Shigeru Miyamoto’s enormous influence on the video game industry, it’s surprising that no specific games have been created with the legendary creator’s participation.
And because we’re being nice, we just want to make sure you don’t make the mistake of tracking down a title coming to the Switch eShop. Simple title MiyamotoThis iOS port has nothing to do with Super Mario’s creator but is instead described as a ‘Japanese-themed card game’ (thanks, Nintendoos).
It will launch on the eShop on the day November 7, 2024 and developed and published by Hideki Hanida. Gameplay from the iOS version presents an experience where you use cards from your deck on the board to outwit and defeat your opponents.
It looks pretty neat and we like the aesthetics of this one, although we weren’t expecting a particularly attractive experience given its £3.39 price tag. However, we were happy to be surprised!
