Jussie Smollett Claims Innocent In New Song ‘Thank You God’

Jussie Smollett is a free man, but he won’t let go of everyone who has doubted him during his ordeal! As we have previously reported, Jussie was found guilty about orchestrating a hate crime and making a false statement to the police in March. Despite her conviction, Jussie has maintained her chastity and is continuing to do so in her music.

Smollett released an almost six-minute R&B track called “Thank You God…” on Friday, in which he recounts the fact that he was harmed in a homophobic attack and race nearly three years ago.

“It’s like they can’t solve crimes. Eliminate the racial, transgender and homophobic factors that are directly taking lives. But go back and act like I’m the one that killed the strides,” Jussie raps in the song.

“I can’t get mad. Let go of my ego. Some people are looking for fame. Some people are looking for fame. Some people pursue that power. Just remember this, this is not that situation. You think I’m stupid enough to kill my reputation? ”

He went on to say, “All I want to do is make my people proud. Fame isn’t real, it’s how you make them feel. Famous people are because of the birds, I am not a man of steel. “

Jussie revealed that profits from the song will be donated to Rainbow Push Coalition, STB Safety and the Illinois Innocence Project, which is said to be run by his family.

Jussie Smollett was released from prison with a fine of $150,000 when lawyers argued his trial was unconstitutional.
