Joseph Parker’s Sky Sports debut could come against an old Tyson Fury rival.
Otto Wallin defeated Fury by 12 rounds three years ago and now running to face the New Zealanders.
Parker put pen to paper in a promotional deal with Boxxer recently and their executives Ben Shalom told the Daily Mirror an offer was received for a fight with Wallin.
“We’re still hoping for a rematch of Dillian Whyte and Joe Joyce fighting for him, but we’ve offered him a fight with Otto Wallin.”
Wallin was promoted by Dmitry Salita, who worked with Boxxer and Sky Sports on a recent battle announcement. Former Claressa Shields promoter, and Americans will go to London in September to fight Savannah Marshall won the undisputed Women’s Middleweight crown.
Parker, former WBO heavyweight champion, was faced with Joe Joyce earlier this month but the deal fell through.
Shalom has added two more names to Parker’s wish list and is hoping to announce their new heavyweight addition soon.
“He also wants to fight Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz.”
“He wants to fight anyone and everyone but late September or early October he will fight.”
“We still hope to make the matches that we identified at the beginning and we think Joseph will perform very well on Sky. We think one of these matches will be announced in the next few weeks. “
