Additionally, the outlet reported that as of Thursday, July 18, Gerdvil remains in custody without bail. Furthermore, “additional charges” are reportedly pending in his case, although it is unclear when he will be due in court.

Here’s What Allegedly Happened to California Man’s Parents
Gerdvil lives in a “double-wide mobile home” with his parents, 79, according to the source. Antoinette Gerdvil and 77 years old Tonald Walter Gerdvil.
CBS News Gerdvil reportedly decapitated and mutilated his parents, along with their pet chihuahua, on July 9 at around 7:30 a.m. Police arrived at the residence shortly afterward and discovered the gruesome scene.
At around 7:42 a.m., police reportedly received another call reporting a “bloody man” chasing a maintenance worker nearby.
“Our dispatchers updated them that there was a bloody male chasing a maintenance worker in that same neighborhood,” Orange County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Matthew Parrish reportedly explained. “Officers immediately began searching for that male. A short time later, that individual was located… shortly after that individual was located, an officer-involved shooting occurred.”

Based on American SunA neighbor named David Desmond reportedly saw Gerdvil arguing with his father the night before the double murder.
“A younger guy was pointing his finger at him, pointing it at his face,” Desmond is said to have recounted. Fox 11 Los Angeles. “I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but he looked angry and the other guy was old.”
