John Schneider mourning the death of his wife Alicia Allain, who passed away from cancer on February 21 at the age of 53. The Duke of Hazard star, 62 years old, announced the tragic news on Instagram with a beautiful tribute to his late wife. John also shared a photo of Alicia and a photo of the couple touching hands while wearing their wedding rings. He wrote in his gratitude, “My beautiful smile is painless, living in her new body next to Jesus. Please respect our privacy during this time of grief. Please do not ask any questions. If you have any pictures of us and our obvious love and adoration for each other, feel free to post them below. Finally… hug those you love tightly and let them know how you feel. We are always like that.”
John received condolences from fans and other actors in the comments section. His small town costar Tom welling And Erica Durability both shared messages of support for the grieving actor. Tom wrote, “So sorry – so light! Best wishes 💕.” Erica said, “I am very sorry about your loss. Pray for you.”
John is legally married to Alicia in September 2019, two months after they held their wedding in the barn at John Schneider Studios in Holden, Louisiana. Alicia is John’s production partner and they started dating in 2015. After the wedding reception, Alicia said EVERYBODY, “This is a wonderful celebration, a sanctuary of love. Just the perfect day to celebrate with friends and family.”
Alicia is John’s third wife. Country singer married former Miss America Tawny Elaine Godin from 1983 to 1986. He was married to his second wife, Castle Ellyin July 1993. With Elly, John welcomed a daughter named kari27 years old this year. He also became the father of Kelly’s children from her first marriage. John and Elly broke up in 2014 and John was ordered to pay his ex more than $18,000 a month in alimony, according to TMZ. John allegedly failed to pay Elly more than $150,000 in alimony so he was sentenced to three days behind bars at the LA County Jail in June 2018, although he was released the same day. when he went to jail because it was too crowded. John is said to have been required to complete 240 hours of community service to compensate for failed alimony payments.
