Joe Biden, allies furious as Democrats try to push him out: ‘They’re Julius Caesar-ing this man’


Alternative Campaign Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket appeared to gain major momentum this week, as senior Democrats called publicly on the president’s resignation and others did their known emotion through channels that aren’t too roundabout. But the campaign says Biden is definitely staying in the race—and those trying to push him out should take a hard look in the mirror.

“Can we remember for a minute that the people who are trying to push Joe Biden out are the same people who really gave us everything Donald Trump,” a source close to Biden speak NBC News. “In 2015, [Barack] Obama, [Nancy] Pelosi, [Chuck] Schumer push Biden aside to support Hillary [Clinton]; They were wrong then, and they’re wrong now.” Noting polls showing Clinton up by as much as nine points, the source added: “How did all this play out for people in 2016?
