Jockeys & Jeans Stallion Season Sale Brings Over $70K

This year’s Jockey and Jeans season sale, which ends January 24, has surpassed the 2021 figure, earning $72,450 for the Permanently Disabled Jockey Foundation. The auction is held on www.Starquine.com.

“We thank all of our sponsors and buyers for the season, who have proven once again that the Thoroughbred and Precious Horse community cares about those 60 severely injured stallions,” said President. Jockeys and Jeans, said Barry Pearl. “And trust me with the $1,000 per month that charity goes to those men and women making a huge difference in their lives. We want to make sure they are never forgotten.”

Sales in the Quarter Horses section of the sale totaled $44,450 while sales of the Thoroughbred sections brought in $28,000.
