The Brazilian competed in the 115-pound weight class for the first time since July 2020. She won 2-1 in the flyweight division.
“I took a little break from flyweight, but this is my division,” Andrade said. “This is where I will perform at my best. I knew I was going to perform for a title again. If I had to climb back up again, that’s what I would do. But if there’s a place to fight for the title, give it to me. ”
Andrade improves to 23-9. Lemos lost with the score 11-2-1.
