Jermaine Franklin says he will ‘catch the body’ with this precise shot at Dillian Whyte
Before the biggest match of his career, Jermaine Franklin vowed to take down Dillian Whyte when the two clashed on November 26.
In fact, he even shared the exact footage he was going to take. Franklin brought Twitter on Wednesday to share how he believes the war will be over.
“Here is my Dillian Whyte top for November 26th. Catch body #22.
This is my Dillian Whyte Uppercut for November 26. Catch the body #22. Tune into DAZN to see. @SalitaProm@MatchroomBoxing@DAZNBoxingpic.twitter.com/4u3sedxScD

The tweet was attached to a clip of Franklin hitting Rydell Booker with a headbutt as the two fought in 2019.
‘The 989 Killer’ of course refers to Whyte’s weakness before the upper hit, with all three of his career defeats to Anthony Joshua, Alexander Povetkin and Tyson Fury all stemming from that hit.
The pair meet next Saturday at Wembley Arena on DAZN. Whyte, who has world-class pedigree, deserves to step into the favorites. Franklin will fight on a level he’s never had before, with a unanimous decision victory over Jerry Forrest, his biggest win to date.
He’s also not long after a long period of inactivity. His game against Rodney Moore in May in Indiana was his first in nearly three years out.
There’s more motivation for both of them in this fight, because Eddie Hearn has stated that it is highly likely that the winner will be Anthony Joshua’s next opponent.
‘AJ’ is looking to make a comeback in March as he begins his return journey following a rematch defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in August in Saudi Arabia. As mentioned earlier, Whyte lost to Joshua when the pair competed for the British title in December 2015 at the O2 Arena.
