Jermaine Franklin envisions getting Dillian Whyte on the floor on November 26

Via Barry Holbrook: Jermaine Franklin sees his match against Dillian Whyte on November 26 as an opportunity to change his life by beating him for a chance to face Anthony Joshua.

Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs) feels that he can create generational wealth for himself if he beats Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) to get a big payday ahead of Joshua.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that Franklin could take on AJ if he beats 34-year-old former world title challenger Whyte in their clash at OVO Arena Wembley, London, England.

What Hearn doesn’t tell 29-year-old Franklin is that he could face Whyte in a rematch before he gets a potential hit against Joshua.

You have to believe that if Franklin beat Whyte, a rematch would be an option as this is not the kind of opponent that Dillian can walk away from if he loses.

Franklin is being brought in as a correction and confidence booster for Whyte, who has been knocked down in two of his last four games.

“We will have the rest of our camp here. Just so I can get used to the environment. I just wanted to be in the atmosphere of it all,” said Jermaine Franklin Boxing in the match about his training camp for the November 26 battle against Dillian Whyte.

“It means a lot. I am grateful for the opportunity and opportunity to practice my skills to the highest level, and I am ready to show the world what I can do.

“Dillian is a hard worker; he is a scraper. Entering any war is a challenge. I respect everyone. I don’t take anyone lightly. If Dillian wasn’t a world champion, I would consider him a world champion.

“My mentality is to always go there and do the best I have and fight with the best I have, never give up and never stop. I don’t give away my secrets,” Franklin said when asked about the flaws he noticed in Whyte.

“I’m just a confident, natural person. I don’t want to say I’m too cocky, but I come from a place where you have to be confident in yourself because a lot of people don’t believe in you. So you have to push yourself a lot.

“Where I come from gives me the confidence I have. Hard work and dedication will increase confidence. I’m just ready to prove my confidence.

“This is really changing the lives of my family, the people I care about most. My children, my girlfriend, my mother, my sister and my brother. It gives me an opportunity for me to change and have generational wealth and be able to take care of the people who care for me.

“You can expect it all. I can box; I can argue. Basically, any opportunity presents itself. So whenever the right opportunity arises. We followed Dillian. I see some of the things that he does.

“I will fight him, and I will fight him. Whenever the opportunity comes up with the right style, we turn it on. I pictured my hand raised at the end of this, likely with him on the floor.

“Yes, most definitely; I don’t see it any other way. I don’t think he can beat me. Yes, I want to be consistent. I’m not one to get the belt and run away from everyone else. I like the challenge. I want to fight everyone.

“If you are one of the best, I want to fight you. If I have a belt and you have a belt, I definitely want to fight you. We will call and send the contract. We will do all of that.

“We don’t ignore smoke. Just prepare yourself, don’t sleep with me. I feel like he’s taking me lightly because of who he is and his status, but I’m here to show him on the 26th,” said Jermaine Franklin.
