Lo, 53, celebrated her first album in six years with a stunning video that shows her has changed since the release of her 2002 debut, This Is Me… Then.
Jennifer looks sensational in the video that shows her transformation from the fresh cover of her debut album into the super diva she is today. The clip begins with the “Let’s Get Loud” singer kneeling on the cover of her first album and looking absolutely chic in millennium style in a pink doll dress with a matching beanie and icy eyeshadow.
The album cover comes to life when J. Lo looks up and tells fans, “This is me.” The scene then shifts to the present, showing a 53-year-old Jennifer sculpted against a dark backdrop. She wore a white corset, leather jacket, and low-rise pants and announced, “It’s me now,” as the tune from her title track played in the background.
The album marked a creative turning point for Mrs. Ben Affleck. This is me right now “documents the emotional, mental, and psychological journey she’s taken over the past two decades,” according to a press release for the upcoming album.
Fans have a feeling that something might be on the way as the star’s social media went dark earlier in the week. Now, they can expect 13 new songs from the beauty.
While fans chatted in the video, their brows were also raised when they saw the 7th spot on the watchlist, titled “Dear Ben pt. ll, a sequel to a song from her debut. Jennifer and Ben were young love when she made her 2002 album. Now 20 years later, the couple is finally married and living the happiest life together.
Her romance with Ben seems to be the inspiration for much of the music. There is also a song titled “Midnight Trip to Vegas,” after they wedding date july 2022 in Sin City.
