Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck The romance that blossomed years after the two first broke up in 2004 was all anyone could talk about at the end of the year and it turned out the couple couldn’t wait any longer.
Jennifer Lopez revealed in her On The JLo newsletter that the couple got married in Las Vegas over the weekend in a small ceremony. The couple first announced their engagement in April of this year and everyone has been waiting for a wedding since then and now the details of the wedding are here.
Jennifer’s newsletter reads as follows:
“We made it. Love is beautiful. Love is kindness. And it turns out love is patience. Twenty years of patience. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas. , stood in line for permits with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”
Jennifer continued to express her feelings about the future that the two are ready to build together in the present:
“They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love. “We’re so grateful to have that in abundance, a wonderful new family of five wonderful children, and a life we’ve never had more reason to look forward to.”
Jennifer wrote her final thoughts on the whole ordeal as follows:
Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life driving through Las Vegas at 12:30 a.m. in the tunnel of love passing, with your kids and the person you’ll be staying with. love is a wonderful thing, possibly the best—and worth the wait.”
One of Hollywood’s most famous couples is now officially married, and it seems Jennifer has also legally decided to take Affleck’s last name as the signed letter “With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
Fans, friends and family all poured their congratulations to the couple and wished them a happy and healthy married life ahead.
