Jennifer Aniston Post the sweetest thank you for your best friend Lisa Kudrow on her 59th birthday! Jen, 53 years old, posted a series of reflections over the years, including a 29th People’s Choice Awards back in 2003. “Happy birthday @lisakudrow,” she wrote, followed by “I love you” over a hilarious GIF of both cheering as they Friend characters Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay. The last photo shows Jen kissing Lisa on the forehead.
Courteney Cox, who plays Rachel and Phoebe’s on-screen BFF Monica, also shared a cute post. Court, 58, and Lisa can be seen smiling together in the Instagram video story when the actress wrote, “Happy birthday trophy… You make things better. And more funny! “
The close relationship of Lisa, Jennifer and Courteney dates back to 1994 when the trio start to work Friend with their male co-stars David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlancand Matthew Perry. Characters grow from their early 20s to 30s on the show, which spanned ten seasons – taking the final bow after a decade on NBC in 2004. Off-screen, Lisa, Jen and Court are known to be real-life BFFs – this hasn’t changed 19 years later.
After many delays, the original cast is finally reunited with The long-awaited HBO Max reunion, where they reminisce about working on the show and walk the memory lane. The event was originally scheduled to take place in 2020, but was not postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions. In the end, the cast chose not to do a virtual version via Zoom to give fans the special they really deserve.
Ahead of the special event, Lisa revealed that while Jen and Courteney see each other often, it’s been a while before the group of six is reunited. “We’ve all never been in the same room in front of people – I mean, we were in private once years ago but that’s it. The whole point of this is staying in the same room. That doesn’t change. And HBO Max is being very patient and understanding,” she said.
