Jen Psaki Joins MSNBC as Host and Commentator


Jen Psaki, famous people As President Biden’s first White House press secretary, chairing more than 200 briefings and becoming a TikTok star through frequent exchanges with reporters, she will join cable news channel MSNBC next Last year.

Ms. Psaki’s last day in the West Wing was May 13, and her move into television news was much-anticipated. Speculation on her potential work at MSNBC starting this year, while she was still presiding over the White House podium. Ms. Psaki said at the time that she adhered to ethical principles while discussing future employment prospects.

She is the second primary employee hired by MSNBC from the Biden administration. Symone D. Sanders, a former spokeswoman for Vice President Kamala Harris, is hosting a weekend show for the network. Ms Psaki said in a statement provided by MSNBC that her show will focus on “fact-based conversations and reflections on the big questions on the minds of people around the country.”

MSNBC is popular with Democrats and leftists, and coverage of the election and its primaries has featured like-minded hosts like Rachel Maddow and Nicole Wallace. Viewers will now receive real-time commentary from a key member of Biden’s first term insider.

Ms. Psaki previously worked as an online contributor on CNN. Before that, she served as White House communications director for former President Barack Obama, and was the chief spokeswoman for former Secretary of State John Kerry.
