Jeff Dunham’s ‘Fireside Shat’ With Biden: ‘Nobody Likes Me’

The most exciting part of the Biden Administration comes in the first few months.

Two separate media outlets, both respected on paper, have claimed President Joe Biden too authoritative to satirize. Yes, The Washington Post and USA Today worry that the new president will give the comedians the right fit.

The first crisis of the Biden administration is evident: America could have a president who, first in generations, is nothing compared to the impressionists.

Yes, someone actually wrote that. Talk about an inappropriate opinion. USA Today’s part isn’t something to be ashamed of, but it’s over.

Fast forward to today. Comedians are still hesitant to mock Biden, but not for lack of material.

Gasoline prices increased. Inflation is crushing Central America. Biden polls drop to new, shocking lows every week.

And the Commander-in-Chief needs flashcards to handle a simple social transaction. That’s when he doesn’t read his directions aloudor the masses.

Even worse?

Biden’s fellow Democrats suddenly lobbied for him resign in 2024.

enter Jeff Dunham.

Excellent ventriloquist is not a political comic. He is best known for his goofy wisecracks and indelible characters like Walter and Peanut.

He still brings out a Biden puppet to provide the first of what could be multiple “Firehouse Stakes”. That title refers to the presidential rumor can’t hold back the bowels while meeting Pope Francis.

That wasn’t the only malicious joke the puppet Biden told.

Dunham’s Biden echoes the volatile nature of the real president, teleprompter readings wobbly and eager to sniff out strange women.

“There is a Teleprompter somewhere. Oh, it’s right where I’m looking so it looks like I’m actually looking at you but it’s not,” Biden said at the start.

The first question, submitted by fans of the comedian, asked Biden for mnemonic tips.

“Well, I have a really great list of ways to keep your memory sharp and I will read it to you as soon as I remember where I put it.”

And it continues.

The clip coincides with a new Dunham web venture, FiresideShats.comhome of his new Biden material.

“SEND US YOUR QUESTIONS AND SEE WHAT SH! # HE COMES WITH. **” this page writes. The irony doesn’t stop there. * Any resemblance to real people, live or dead, is purely coincidental… LOL – League of Legends

Biden is a treasure trove of comedy inspiration, even if most comedians steer clear of the Commander-in-Chief. They do so for purely partisan reasons. Even late-night TV (with “Gutfeld! ” is the obvious exception) and “Saturday Night Live” avoids Biden jokes at all costs.

He’s on their team, and no matter how he stumbles, they’ll stick to their favorite GOP goals. At least for now.

Some of Biden’s impressionist artists come from outside the mainstream media, like Kyle Dunnigan and Dana Carvey, a former “SNL” star who is now most heard through “Flying over the wall” audio file.

Dunham is filling a void, the full stop, and he’s not taking any punches along the way.
