Jeep car and Mopar are now selling high-performance windshield wipers for Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator. And while I knew that the official aftermarket and accessories catalog for the Jeep Wrangler was unrivaled in the range, I wouldn’t have expected it to come up to this – performance wipers!
But the wipers that Jeep Performance Parts have introduced are excellent, and as silly as they may sound, the wipers seem to operate on a higher level than the fluid and wiper systems of the last Jeep Wranglers model. together.
The efficiency wipers move the spray source to the wiper arm, placing the wet jets closer to the windshield and presumably applying more pressure to the dirty area. The wiper arm has 12 laser-cut holes along the entire blade, so the liquid pressure is also greater and the penetration is more even.
Jeep says dirt and debris will be washed away the first time of the propeller since 12 wet jets direct the liquid where it belongs. On older two-tap systems, the first action of the wipers can feel futile when cleaning the front glass that is covered in mud. Or bird droppings.
Really, relocating wet jets would be a good idea for more than just going off-road. And for more vehicles than just Jeeps. Currently, wipers are only available for the 2018-2022 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models.
This section is available from Mopar, and will cost $140.00. It includes the wiper arms, blades and hoses needed to install the new system. It also comes with a pair of replacement wiper blades. My biggest question about this kit is whether it locks the Jeep driver into a system that uses proprietary wipers. Looks like it’s a possibility.

That could be a problem-solving tool, depending on the price of the wipers and the inconvenience of the proprietary blades introduced. I don’t want to have to order blades from Mopar when it’s so easy to go to Costco or AutoZone and buy new blades.
Other than that, it’s pretty neat. I really want to mock Jeep here. What kind of person would brag about their “High Performance” windshield wipers? Probably someone I wouldn’t want to stay long enough to hear all about their hilarity “If you can read this, flip me over!” sticker. However, these wipers are mostly a Jeep mod I can get my hands on.
