Jay Leno took the stage for the first time since suffering severe burns in his garage on November 27 at the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California. Jay was working on his 1907 White Steam car on November 13 when a fuel line burst. Gasoline caught fire and splashed on Jay’s face and hands. He Second and third degree burns into his face, hands, arms, and neck. He was hospitalized and put into a hyperbaric chamber treatment.
During his hospital stay, Jay’s close friend Tim Allen Came Visit him on November 17, just a few days after the crash. “I took his car magazine. We did some jokes, that’s what we do. We are very sorry. We just connect as friends,” said Tim TMZ about his visit. When asked about Jay’s recovery, Tim joked, “His face looks great. It didn’t look good at first.”
