Jay Goodwin, formerly of Eaton Sales and formerly a partner of Select Sales Agency, has been hired by Gary Broad’s Walmac Ranch and will be joining the stallion sales division of the operation.

“Switching to stallions is not something I even think about, but when I talk to Gary and hear his excitement and the plans he has for Walmac’s future, it is. which I definitely want to be a part of,” said Goodwin. “While I am excited about this exciting new opportunity, I will miss my role at Eaton Sales. I am grateful to Reiley [McDonald] for all that he taught me when I worked with him.

Goodwin, who has been an account manager for Eaton Sales since 2020, is also a breeder and owns Goodwin Ranch in Bourbon County, where he manages his mares and those of his clients.

Walmac is home to Core Belief stallions, the first ponies arriving this year and the new Class I winner claiming Pinehurst. Both stallions are priced at $7,500 S&N.
