Jawa 42 Tawang Edition launched, limited to only 100 pieces

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched a new special edition of the Jawa 42 motorcycle. It is called the Jawa 42 Tawang Edition and is available exclusively to customers from Arunachal Pradesh and surrounding area. However, it was limited to just 100 pieces and was already sold out. Jawa 42 Tawang version price $20,000 more than the standard Jawa 42 in Arunachal Pradesh.

For the additional funds, customers will receive bronze medals, custom helmets, and riding jackets. Accessories such as the headlight grille, rearview mirror, rear bumper and bumper are also included with this special edition.

Jawa 42 The Tawang version is based on the Jawa 42 Sports Stripe Allstar Black. Jawa says that the Tawang Version is inspired by Lungta, the mythical wind horse, which is part of the legend from this region and symbolizes prosperity and good luck. The motorcycle features Lungta motifs on the fuel tank and front fenders along with region-inspired inscriptions on the surrounding body panels. Each motorcycle also has a unique numbered bronze medallion to mark special edition units.

Jawa didn’t make any mechanical changes. So, it retains the same single-cylinder, 293 cc, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 26.95 hp and 26.84 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

The special edition motorcycle was unveiled at the Torgya Festival in Tawang by Mr Tsering Tashi, MLA Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, Mr Sonam Chombay, CM Commissioner and Mr Oken Tayeng, President – ​​Adventure Tour Operators Association of India, NE Chapter. Officials also handed out special edition motorcycles to select customers.
