NEW DELHI: BCCI on Monday officially ruled out ace India pacer Jasipino Bumrah from the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia due to back injury.
“BCCI Medical Group has ruled out Team India Jasosystem fast pitcher Bumrah from ICC Men’s T20 World Cup formation. The decision was made after a detailed assessment and consultation with experts,” a BCCI statement read.

Bumrah was initially dropped from the ongoing 3-match T20I series against South Africa.
“BCCI will soon appoint Jasosystem Bumrah’s replacement in the lineup for the marquee tournament,” the statement added.
