Japanese charts: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom beats the competition
New Zelda Um!
Well, a new Zelda game is out and, quite predictably, Echoes of wisdom topped the Japanese charts with a total of 200,121 units sold. This is an easy win for Nintendo, and we suspect the game will hold its ground for at least a few more weeks with launch stats like these.
This week, on the other hand, is almost exclusively about new releases. EA Sports FC 25 performed admirably, with the Switch version beating PS5 and PS4, while The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki gave PlayStation another small boost, coming in at #2 for PS5 and 3rd for PS4.
For the full details, here’s a full overview of the latest top 10:
This week’s hardware is another sign of the new Zelda version’s solid nationwide appeal: the Switch Lite actually edged out the OLED Model for the top spot, reaching a total of 34,924 sales. However, OLED is not too far away, and when taking into account the OG Switch, Nintendo has shipped a total of 74,351 consoles.
Meanwhile, PlayStation and Xbox are still hanging on, but frankly, neither platform is doing well at the moment. Especially Xbox. Oh my God…
