Janet’s wardrobe breakdown is ‘a good thing’
With Tom Brady (once again) is about to retire, it looks like he’ll be spending more time on his podcasting. However, in his latest episode Let’s go! podcast, the former NFL player commented that Janet Jackson’s on-air wardrobe malfunction was not going so well.
In particular, Tom stated that the infamous incident – which occurred at the end of Janet and Justin Timberlake’s 2004 Super Bowl first-half performance – was “probably a good thing for the NFL.”
Tom Brady Admits He ‘Didn’t See Nothing’ During Incident
The topic came up as Tom and his co-hosts, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, chatted nonchalantly about whether Brady often watched mid-show shows during competition.
In response, Tom simply replied at first, “I don’t want to see it while I’m playing.”
He went on to refer to the 2004 Super Bowl, which saw the New England Patriots take on the Carolina Panthers. Tom specifically mentioned that, because he was preoccupied with the game during Janet’s wardrobe malfunction, he “didn’t see anything”.
“I even remember when we beat Carolina…We were on the field and that’s when we had a costume problem with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. [The media was] ask me about that. I can’t even understand what they are telling me. They said, ‘Do you watch the mid-show?’ and I said, ‘I don’t see anything.’ I’m thinking about the game.”
This Day 18 Years Ago: Justin Timberlake ripped off Janet Jackson’s red lace bra during the Super Bowl halftime performance, revealing her in “Closer Incident”.

He Says Janet’s Risks ‘Just More Publicity’ for NFL
However, Tom didn’t stop there, as he later said how Janet’s wardrobe malfunction was “probably a good thing,” as it created “more publicity.” for the NFL.
“I think in the end, that’s probably a good thing for the NFL because everybody’s talking about it, and it’s just been more public and more public for the mid-season shows. Is any publicity bad publicity? That’s what they say, so who knows?
We should note that, in a 2006 sit-down with oprahJanet talked about how “all the emphasis is placed on [her]” in contrast to Justin, who exposed her breasts. As a result, she was “blacklisted” while Justin “continues to have a flourishing career.”
Also, in her 2022 documentaryShe also noted, “I have moved on and it is time for everyone to do the same.”
As a result, people simply aren’t here to listen to Tom Brady’s commentary. Check out some of the reactions down below.
Janet Jackson has faced public humiliation and outright disregard for women, which led to her being blacklisted by the former CBS CEO, but Tom Brady reckons all of those that’s fine because all publicity is good publicity. Sick. https://t.co/1kcerS34Wc

Tom Brady made those remarks about Janet Jackson but was so ignorant that he couldn’t even understand that she had been blacked out, pushed out of the limelight and humiliated for it for years. even as Michael Jackson’s sister. dear bffr.
