The opportunity Timm will become a partner of top sales agent Grovendale, owned and managed by James B. Keogh, the company announced Monday. The newly formed partnership reflects the longstanding friendship and business relationship that comes with the partnership.
Grovendale Sales is a purebred sales trust based in Versailles, Kentucky that provides purebred sales representation, mating, investment, and management consulting services.
Timm has over 12 years of experience in the Commercial Purebred business. He spent eight years at Lane’s End Farm as Director of Stallion Seasons and Shares, and actively worked with both sales and bloodlines. Most recently, Don Alberto Corp CEO Chance oversaw the sale and management of more than $10 million in publicity sales, including the highest-priced work in the Northern Hemisphere in 2021, a coveted pony of Into Mischief of Paola Queen, who sold for $2.6 million at the sale of Fasig-Tipton Saratoga.

Keogh, a native of Ireland, has over 30 years of experience in the Thoroughbred industry while based in Kentucky, building Grovendale into a major sales mainstay over the past 10 years. Of the new partnership, Keogh said, “Bringing Opportunity was an opportunity for me to grow and build a sales agency, while maintaining my focus on quality over quantity. The partnership will allow us to expand our reach both to Chance’s relationships as well as greater representation in every major purchase. ”
