Jake Paul teases switch to MMA, says he’s ‘working with a big organization’ for potential debut

Jake Paul is obviously working on its MMA debut.

The YouTube star fighter recently said he has a big announcement about getting into MMA. Paul has long teased a move to MMA, but it looks like the wheel is finally turning.

“I have an announcement coming up – I can only tease that,” said Paul above BS w / Jake Paul podcast. “I’m currently working with a large organization on the whole issue in MMA that also involves me fighting and we’ll have an announcement soon.”

Paul has an upcoming boxing match scheduled against former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva on October 29 in Phoenix.

He is still very much focused on his boxing career, and said a potential MMA move will have to come with time as he will need an adjustment period to get ready for the many aspects that he has to offer. MMA brings.

“I wanted to do it, and Javier Mendez said he would coach me,” Paul said. “I’m coming (America Kickboxing Academy). I probably need a year, a year and a half, to bring it down. I already know jiu-jitsu. I want to be able to do everything in it – at least test the kicks. I know how to struggle.”
