Jake Paul is my biggest but not hardest fight to date
Tommy Fury admits the upcoming clash with Jake Paul is the biggest fight of his career so far – but not the hardest.
Fury and Paul will face off in less than three weeks at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia, finally ending the year-long feud and grudge between the two.
The two were originally scheduled to fight in December 2021, but Fury was forced to withdraw due to a severe chest infection and broken ribs.
A second meeting was scheduled for last summer, however this meeting was also canceled after He was refused entry to the US by customs.
Talk to Dev Sahni on official Queensberry YouTube ChannelFury said he was training for a date with the American as if it were a world championship match.
“It is serious work. It was the biggest fight of my career, but it wasn’t the hardest test.”
“At the end of the day, I have tougher tests every day in the gym, with world-class boxers.”
“You have to treat it as it is, but I’ve been training for this like I’m fighting for a world title.”
Paul is about to win the best of his professional boxing journey until last October, when he overtakes legendary UFC striker Anderson Silva at the Desert Diamond Arena.
As for Fury, he has yet to face a recognizable opponent and was last seen in the ring during a low-profile exhibition bout under the title Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji in Dubai.
Many people felt pressure on the shoulders of ‘TNT’ when entering the battle, with his father John and brother Tyson saying he could “stay in Arabia” if he didn’t beat Paul.
