Jack King-Spooner’s next craft game has a test demo

You can watch the next game from Beeswing and Dujanah developer Jack King-Spooner with a compelling demo released alongside a crowdfunding campaign. Judero is its name, and a surprising action adventure across the Scottish Borders is its game. Expect folklore, witchcraft, jokes, stop motion and wars and mind control.
Judero is a fantasy adventure that runs all the way from the circular Peebles on the Scottish Border all the way to the west coast, starring a bound Celt named Judero (who may or may not be based on a character. old action). Something bad is going on, and he’s going to explore, chat with people, and fight.
It’s a bit like a top-down beatdown with bosses that are very lifelike, although confusing and confusing the combat that comes with Judero’s ability to control the minds of enemies. Obviously the full game will vary between all the minigame types, which makes me think a bit about Nier: Automata.
To create Judero, Jack King-Spooner teamed up with Talha Kaya, who created Soul Searching survival game and designed and programmed side-scrolling hack ‘n’ slash Pill Baby.

I love that I don’t fully understand what’s going on with Judero after playing the demo, a mix of past and present, handcrafted and hand-painted, wonderful folk and mundane, light and Unbelievably intense boss battles. I look forward to seeing more in the full game.
I’m also excited to learn more about Borders Folkore. I visited several towns in the Border, swam some rivers, climbed some hills, Cycle through valleys resplendent with heatherand hiking to the ruins, but I don’t know many stories.
You can download the demo of Judero from Itch.io. They plan to release the full game on Steam in 2024, as well as the Nintendo Switch. To help grow the fund, they launched a Kickstarter campaign yesterday, which is 45 per cent of their way to their £12,000 goal.
