Jack Eichel Debuts Golden Knights vs Avalanche

Jack is back – he’s coming back anyway.

After not playing for almost a calendar year, move on Jack Eichel is expected to debut the first season for Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche.

Eichel has not played since having surgery to repair a disc in his neck earlier this season. The surgery was the cause of tension between Eichel and his former team, the Buffalo Sabers. Vegas acquired Eichel from Buffalo in November.

This was Eichel’s first game against a new team – and a team that was leading their division, at the time – he knew he had to make a great impression from the start.

Eichel’s much-anticipated debut also comes at a time when the Vegas Golden Knights have lost two of their best players to injury. Starting scorer Robin Lehner was sidelined with an upper body injury, while captain Mark Stone was placed on the long-term bench with a back injury.
