The McLaren MP4-12C and Lamborghini‘S Aventador and Gallardo just three examples of models that in the recent past sometimes went horribly wrong, then paid dearly to get it right. So who is naming here in an attempt to warn the public about cars that are among the most expensive to order? Only Warranty, knows a thing or two on the subject, because the nature of its business means it often picks up such expensive garage bills.
But it’s not just the aging supercars that have gained an unbelievable reputation for costing £20,000 or more to repair after the manufacturer’s warranty expired and errors arose. At least one high-end British model is accused of doing the same.
“Previous Generation” Range Rover was named the least reliable used car in our annual reliability index,” according to our annual carrier. “This model has the lowest price due to frequency and cost of repairs.”

Other cars in the list of the 10 least reliable models covered by the company’s warranty are BMW M3 (with the ‘Highest Repair Cost’ being £12,115), Porsche Panamera (£10,785), BMW M5 (£10,129), BMW X6 (£9,613), Audi Q7 (£8,719), Porsche Cayenne (£6,360), Bentley Continental GT (£6,227) and Mazda CX-5 (£5,777).
In other words, of the cars deemed by the warranty company to be the most expensive to repair in the UK, eight are high-end German or British models, one is a modest family car from Japan, and one is a modest family car from Japan. the rest ( Bentley) is a luxury product with an affordable price tag. And in this embarrassing league, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are undoubtedly the biggest individual losers thanks to the inexplicably large repair costs, which are massively higher than rival premium brands. from Germany.
