That is a girl! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Sunday (November 6). The actress arrived at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai, at 7am and gave birth to a baby girl at 12:05pm. Alia Bhatt shared a post on her Instagram handle that reads: “And the best news of our lives: – Our baby is here… and she is a magical girl. I’m officially bursting in love – Parents are so lucky and haunting!! love love love love Alia and Ranbir On Sunday morning, Alia and Ranbir were spotted arriving at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. The couple married in April this year in an intimate ceremony at their Vastu mansion in Mumbai and in June, Alia announced the pregnancy on her Instagram.

Last month, the Kapoors family and friends of Alia held an intimate newborn bathing ceremony at Alia and Ranbir’s Vastu home in Mumbai. Alia shared dreamy photos from the celebration and captioned the post “just…love”, accompanied by a yellow heart emoji. The ceremony was attended by Kapoors and Bhatts, including Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima, Karisma, Shweta Bachchan, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and others.
