Italian Ivan Zucco stops Serbia’s Marko Nikolic in Italy!

During the ninth, tenth, and final rounds, Natalizi switched back and forth from Southpaw to orthodox, ending ten rounds with erratic action.

The score is 98-92 twice and 99-91.

During the Main Event, Italian champion Ivan Zucco, 16-0 (14), #166, of Verbania, Piedmont, Italy, stopped Marko Nikolic, 28-2(12), #167¾, of Belgrade, Serbia, with the second half 1:30 for the WBC International Super Average title vacated.

Late in the first half, Nikolic landed with a solid upper-right hit, blood coming from Zucco’s nose. In the second round, after a minute, a Southpaw Zucco left on the chin knocked Nikolic out by 8 counts. Zucco does the attack, landing a right cross to the chin sending Nikolic down a second time while Nikolic holds him to the tarp on his way down. When Nikolic beat the count, his corner stepped onto his apron, signaling the end.

Featherweight Francesco Grandelli, 16-1-2 (3), #127 ¾, of Cambiano, Piedmont, Italy, beat Kane Baker, 17-9-1 (1), #129 ½, of Birmingham, West Midlands, King Great Britain, at 10 laps.

In the first round, with one minute left, Grandelli punched with his right hand, beat Baker by 8 but still made it through the round. In the second inning, with just over a minute left, Baker landed his hand right on Grandelli’s chin, costing him eight points. By the end of the half, Grandelli was back in control.

In the fifth round, Grandelli suffered a nosebleed but was able to continue fighting Baker. In the 1/8 round, Baker chased Grandelli, who won the right to the next round. In the tenth and final round, Grandelli gave Baker boxing lessons.
The score is 98-90 twice and 96-92.

Super Welter Samuel Numomah, 17-0 (5), #155, of Lagos, Nigeria and Novara, Piedmont, Italy, beat Fouad “Desert Storm” El Massoudi, 17-18-1 (2), #156, in total of Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dome, France, over eight rounds.

In the first four rounds, it was all Numomah with chin counterattacks while El Massoudi knocked out some forehands with the head.
From the fifth to the eighth round, what looked like a mismatch on paper ended an exciting round of eight with Numomah remaining undefeated.

The scores were 78-73 and 77-72, respectively.
Featherweight Mauro Forte, 17-0-2 (7), #130, of Roma, Lazio, Italy, knocks out Joshua Ocampo, 8-4-4 (6), #128 ¼, of Cucuta, Colombia, in round 1 six and the final round.
