Italian brand Marni presents virtual world for digital fashion

The virtual experience was made possible in collaboration with Futurecorp. It was launched on April 14.
“I do not consider ‘virtual’ as a way of detaching from reality, but as another means of exploring the human experience. Through the Wearweare program, we extended the ideal of human connection at the core of last September’s physical fashion show, providing users with a new perspective and a new point of view to interact with the content in a very personal and immersive way,” Marni’s creative director, Francesco Rissoin a statement.
Italian fashion house Marni has launched Wearweare, a virtual world for digital fashion that will bring looks from the brand’s Spring Summer 2022 collection to the online world. The virtual world that allows users to interact with looks from Marni’s runway shows is transformed into an AR look, 3D lookbook, and metaverse-inspired environment.
“Welcome to Wearweare. Marni’s virtual world is here. Are you ready for it? From April 14, you are invited to experience a digital, interactive journey with the avatars of the SS2022 fashion show. Get ready to dive into the digital experience. #MarniSS22Vol2 #WEARWEARE,” Marni said on her Twitter account.
