Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will drive its third EV this year to India on December 2. In terms of looks, the EQB comes with Mercedes-specific EQ line styling. These include an empty grille up front and an LED light bar at the rear. The EQB’s cabin is largely the same as the ICE-powered GLB, which will also launch alongside the EV in December.

In global markets, Mercedes offers the EQB in two broad variants – the EQB 300 and the EQB 350. The EQB 300 draws its power from a 228 hp twin-motor powertrain while the higher variant features a dynamic setup. 292 hp dual engine. The EQB is offered with a German four-wheel drive system. This battery pack can be charged via AC system up to 11 kW and up to 100kW in DC fast charging setup. Mercedes claims it can recharge to 80% in just 32 minutes using the fast charging option.
