Roommate, it seems DeVon Franklin has added a new chapter to his love life! Recently, Instagram fans have noticed some similarities between his vacation posts and those of a famous trainer. Now, his supporters seem to think that he and Maria Castillo booed in private!
Franklin’s last public relationship was with his ex-wife Meagan Good. The couple married in June 2012, but DeVon filed for divorce in 2021. She has been publicly dating actor Jonathan Majors since May 2023.

Castillo was the first to post hints about her vacation in Cabo, Mexico with DeVon Franklin. She appeared to start their relationship off lightly by posting a selfie that showed off part of his behind his ear, neck, and silver chain around it. A recent selfie of DeVon Instagram Feed showing him wearing the same necklace as the mystery man in Maria’s post.
Additionally, DeVon and Maria posted separate photos from the apparent vacation, with him posing on the sand in front of the ocean while she posed in a blue swimsuit under a tent.
Another Instagram Stories post from Franklin shows him sitting on an ATV with his helmet in the air. Shade Room did some digging and found out that Franklin and Maria also follow each other on Instagram.

Who is DeVon’s new lover, Maria Castillo?
As mentioned, Maria Castillo is a trainer associated with Force Fitness and has previously worked with celebrities like Angela Simmons.
What a coincidence, a pinned post The fitness site’s Instagram page shows Megan Good working out in February 2023. It’s unclear whether this means Maria and Meagan have met before.
Back to Castillo, in addition to helping celebrities get in shape, she is also the head trainer for the nonprofit organization Progress in the recovery process. Her passion for fitness was ignited at age 18 after discovering she had a genetic and irreversible heart condition. She moved to Los Angeles at age 22 and founded Flawed&Fit shortly after, according to a 2020 Interview with VoyageLA.
Maria also appears to be Dominican, with the DR emoji in her IG bio. She is believed to have attended the University of South Carolina. She is a double major in marketing and management with a minor in French.
“I was raised to value kindness and empathy in myself and others the most, and that played a huge role in my success,” she told Voyage magazine.

Maria is the second woman DeVon Franklin has been romantically linked to this year. In March, he was spotted enjoying a meal at a Los Angeles restaurant with a mystery woman. They left the restaurant hand in hand, but DeVon has never confirmed whether they were dating.
