Is Beast Blender Worth It?

If you don’t know what it is, you might think the “Blender” is a giant and bulky blender, but it’s actually a trendy, sleek, and compact blender. The style has probably popped up on your Instagram feed.

I haven’t actually seen the Beast blender yet, but when my husband surprised me with one for Christmas, I have to say I was excited to try it.

The price tag makes it a bit higher than other new blenders I’m reviewing, so I really wanted to find out if it’s worth keeping the Beast based on the performance and other qualities I’m looking for. searching. Do I get mine in the end?

Here’s how I rate the Beast blender and rate it in terms of looks, size, performance, and optional accessories...

Look: According to the picture on this system, I would give the Beast blender a 10 out of 10. It comes in three colors (Carbon Black, Pebble Gray, and Cloudy White) and its slim and slim body is complimented by the folding design of the circuits to create a tabletop device you won’t want to stash in a cupboard.

In fact, they’ve designed it to look good enough to be on the counter all the time, which is something I can’t say I wanted to do with my previous blender.

Size: At less than 5 inches wide and under 16 inches tall (with the included 1000ml mixing pitcher), this blender not only looks good enough to stay on your counter, but it’s also slim enough to take up very little space there. .

Aside from looks, saving space on the countertop is the main reason why I put my former blender in the lower cabinet when not in use. But the footprint on the Beast is so small I’ve been leaving it out for the past few months and it hasn’t gotten in the way. The only thing about size is if you’re looking to blend an extremely large amount at once.

The largest pitcher size is 1000ml (about 4.25 cups) so it’s perfect for smoothies, drinks and sauces/dipping sauces, but it won’t be big enough if you’re trying to blend whole batches of soup. family size (to be honest, an immersion blender is actually what you want in that situation rather than a regular blender).

Since I mainly want it for smoothies, drinks, sauces and dips, the Beast’s size is huge and I would rate the size as 10 out of 10.

The Beast comes in three different size jars for brewing: 1000ml, 800ml and 500ml so you can make individual or larger servings (the 500ml jar is perfect for a morning smoothie bowl, etc.).

Performance: The Beast’s 1000-watt motor is powerful enough to make the best smoothies, but also has a pulse mode to easily chop up dipping sauces or other concoctions with just a quick mix.

To beat the blender, simply press the main button for a short period of time, and to blend, hold the button for longer than a second to start a timed one-minute blending cycle (although you can stop this process). short if necessary).

The blender jar must be at least 25% liquid for best blending results, and they recommend adding the ingredients in the following order: liquid, ice, produce, greens, flour, seeds, nuts, butter seeds and then honey. I rate the performance as 9 out of 10 because the blender works fine as long as you have enough liquid in it (otherwise it will have a hard time like most blenders) and the pulse mode is great for making things like quick salsas, but you have to press the button be very short or it will turn into salsa soup.

Optional accessories: For your blender and carafe, there are various accessories that you can get to enhance the experience like a specially shaped brush to clean your pitcher (there’s a cool little brush in the handle for small spaces), a 800ml bottle for middle size optionand a slotted spoon so you can take it bit by bit from your blender before rinsing.

I don’t have any accessories myself and you should be fine without them, but I was able to get the spatula because you can’t scrape it off with a regular spatula due to the unique grooves of the metal. I would rate accessory options 9 out of 10 since it’s a plus to have different size jugs and specifically shaped tools for cleaning the system, but I wish they had a travel cap with a straw for the water and a travel size for the water. a smoothie cup fits into a cup holder without having to switch it.

Q: What is the optional hydration system that can come with the Beast blender? The hydration system is a 750ml glass pitcher shaped like a water bottle with a stainless steel infusion chamber where you can add fresh fruit like strawberries, vegetables like cucumber or herbs like mint which will make the water fresh Yours becomes naturally delicious.

Q: What does the Beast blender come with? The standard package comes with base, blade assembly, 1000ml jar, storage cap, drinking cap and lid.

You can also get all of that with the hydration system version but you’ll add in a 500ml jar, another storage cap, a 750ml hydration system reservoir, a hydration system drink cap and a chamber transmission and attachment to the hydration system.

You can also just buy its own hydration system without blender if that’s your main need.

Q: Does Beast only make smoothies or smoothie bowls? Is not! You’ve probably seen pretty smoothies or bowls in ads or on someone’s feed, but Beast is also perfect for other things like drinks, sauces or dips! I used it to make my bullet coffee-style drink in the morning and it gave me an instant hit.

You can also use it to grind grains like rice, wheat, corn, or even coffee!

Q: Do you have any complaints about Beast? My only complaint so far is that I wish they had a drinking cap that only has a small hole for a straw. I always like to use a metal straw with my water bottles, and you have to drink from the open cap with the hydration compartment in the water bottle.

If you take it out after the water has soaked in, you still have a big gap where the straw rolls around and it doesn’t feel like spilling if it spills.

So did you keep your blender??

Do I keep my blender after all the tests? Yes, I did! So far, it’s totally worth the price, and it has kept me coming back to making smoothies and smoothie bowls that I love. Hope this helps you decide if you’re on the fence or haven’t heard of it! so so. Laura

How noisy is the Beast blender?

While it does make a noise when grinding, I wouldn’t say it’s a “noisy” blender. My coffee grinder makes more noise than the blend mode, so I consider that as average noise level.

Can you put ice in the Beast blender?

Yes! Beast is made to handle ice and they strongly recommend mixing with ice or frozen fruit/vegetables for the best texture.

Are the circuits plastic or glass?

The brewing vessels are made of Tritan™ plastic and the drinking water tank is made of glass.
