Irv Gotti Accused of Assault and Sexual Abuse in Miami Lawsuit

Irv Gotti is at the center of a lawsuit alleging sexual assault and abuse. A woman is suing the founder of Murder Inc. Records for allegedly exploiting her in Miami, Atlanta and Saint Martin, according to Miami New Times.

The article does not name the accuser, nor do the court documents she filed in Miami-Dade on July 11. Listed as Jane Doe, she claims that Irv assaulted and abused her multiple times between 2020 and 2022. Additionally, the woman said her repeated abuse led to her being admitted to a psychiatric ward.

“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff suffered severe emotional and psychological harm that required her to be admitted to a psychiatric unit. These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day,” according to court documents.

Lawsuit Explains Connection Between Jane Doe and Irv Gotti

According to Jane Doe, the abuse from Irv Gotti began the same year they met. She said a mutual friend connected them at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020, and he then invited her to Saint Martin.

However, after landing, the woman said Irv Gotti forced her to have sex under the threat of sending her home. The lawsuit said she complied “due to his power and influence in the music world.” Despite the rape, the two began dating after the St. Martin trip.

However, things did not get better. Instead, Jane Doe said she was “continually mistreated by Irv Gotti.” Another example she cited involved a trip to Miami in January 2022. While staying at the Four Seasons, Jane Doe said he forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator.

Later that year, he allegedly committed a similar act. However, that time, the alleged incident occurred in an Uber in Atlanta. After that attack, Gotti and Doe’s relationship ended.

Irv Gotti has not publicly responded to the allegations in the lawsuit. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether Jane Doe is seeking a monetary settlement, but the Miami New Times reports that she is seeking a jury trial.
