Iris Law wears a dress for Beyoncé’s 2003 MTV Movie Awards

The next generation of fashion is exploiting the past. We have seen Zendaya start a new year of red carpet looks in a Valentino dress from 1992, Olivia Rodrigo put on Atelier Versace Classic to the MTV VMAs and Zahara Jolie-Pitt wearing Angelina Jolie’s Mother’s Dress 2014 Oscars to the premiere of “Eternals”. Now, we have Iris Law bringing back a Versace dress once worn by Beyoncé.
The 21-year-old model attended a London Fashion Week party hosted by Perfect Magazine on February 21 with a fancy dress from Versace’s fall 2003 collection. The yellow-chartreuse dress features a satin bodice with a ruffled handkerchief skirt. Law outfitted with brown heels and a silver bracelet.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé previously wore the dress to the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, where she was nominated for a Breakthrough Actress Award for her role as Foxxy Cleopatra in “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” Her accessories are definitely less frills, including metallic strappy sandals, a matching necklace and drop earrings. In addition to Beyoncé’s red carpet appearance, Christina Aguilera modeled the dress in a campaign shot by Steven Meisel.
Law, whose daughter is Jude Law and Sadie Frost, have appeared in campaigns for Fendi, Marc Jacobs and Burberry Beauty. Recently she modeled for British Vogue – wear the Miu Miu dress – and also Vogue Hong KongFebruary cover star. Law’s relationship with Versace in particular has grown over the past year, and she was in the front row at the brand’s spring 2022 runway show.
