iPhone SE versus the competition: Mid-range battle
Over the past few years, the major phone makers have launched low-priced but feature-rich handsets – essentially flagship phones at mid-range prices. Today, Apple announced an update to its own product, the iPhone SE. It packs in a powerful Apple A15 Bionic, 5G connectivity, and a dedicated Home button, and starts at an affordable $429. But it’s still not the only gorgeous mid-range phone; Samsung has been offering a wide range of affordable handsets for years now, and Google continue its line phone “a” with 5a. And if you’re outside of the US, you might even have the option of opting for the OnePlus Nord 2. We’ve taken all of these outstanding affordable phones and lined up their specs in the side table. below so you can get an idea of when it’s powered on, but make sure you check out our review of the new iPhone SE when it drops in price later this spring.
