iPhone 14 Pro Max is almost 9% faster than iPhone 13 Pro Max, results revealed on Geekbench


Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max has been spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench. The new listing for a phone called iPhone 15.3 likely belongs to the newly launched iPhone 14 Pro Max. Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max (listed on the benchmarking website with iPhone model ID 14.3), the company’s latest handset is listed as an 8.7% improvement in single-core performance and an increase in about 22% in multi-core performance. The iPhone 14 Pro Max is equipped with the Apple A16 Bionic chip, while last year’s iPhone 13 Pro Max is equipped with the Apple A15 Bionic chip. The new phone was launched on September 7, during the company’s ‘Far Out’ event.

Geekbench list of iPhone 15.3 shows that the phone has scored 1,879 points in single-core performance and 4,664 points in multi-core performance. Since then, the model ID for iPhone 13 Pro Max is iPhone 14.3 on Geekbench, likely listing belongs iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Compared to Geekbench list give iPhone 13 Pro Max, the new iPhone 14 Pro Max only improves about 8.7% of single-core performance and increases of about 22% of multi-core performance. The iPhone 13 Pro Max comes out with 1,729 points in single-core performance and 3,831 points in multi-core performance.
