According to user reports on Reddit and Apple’s community forums, a significant number of users are finding flashing green and yellow lines on their iPhone screen when the device is turned on. Some users say that Apple has clarified that the problem with flickering lines is not a hardware issue. Instead, Apple said it was an iOS bug. Some iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users claim that the problem started with iOS 16.2, while others say the problem was present in older versions of iOS 16.

According to one Redditor, the color and number of horizontal lines vary, however, the green and yellow lines are the most common. Some users claim that the glitch doesn’t happen all the time. The problem is said to have started after the iOS 16.2 update, while others claim to have seen flickering lines on the screen in earlier iOS 16 builds.
