The report explains that Artifact will display a feed of popular articles selected from a curated list of publishers as well as small-scale blogs. Readers can tap on any news story they want to read, and the app will then start showing similar posts and stories in the future in the same way that TikTok offers a “For You” page based on on the content used by the user.
According to the report, Artifact beta testers will initially only be able to view the main rated feed, and two other features are being further tested on the app. One of those features will allow users to see articles posted by other users they follow on the news feed, while the other is the ability to send messages directly to the inbox. , allowing users to discuss posts with friends.
