The International Institute of Fashion Design will send a group of its students to the UK for a showcase. The event will take place in conjunction with the High Commissioner of India in London.
“INIFD designers are once again ready to make India proud,” INIFD announced on Facebook. “Students will exhibit our rich heritage, textiles, arts and crafts at India Day on February 17, 2023 alongside [the] High Commissioner of India in London. Now is your time to shine.”
INIFD has been sending groups of students to London for years so they can showcase their designs in the British capital. The 2023 event will take place with the London School of Trends, INIFD is also holding a showcase in New York, USA this month during New York Fashion Week.
The International Institute of Fashion Design has campuses across India in locations including Bhopal, Indore, Chandigarh, Jodhpur, Pune, Siliguri and Mumbai among others. The institute runs a wide range of courses related to fashion and interior design, among other creative fields. In India, INIFD cooperates with Lakme Fashion Week combined with Fashion Design Council of India to showcase winning student collections from across its campuses at fashion WeekThe next edition takes place in Mumbai this March.
