Virat kohli among others. like of Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Umran Malik, among others were given the opportunity. Another young player who was selected in the team was Shubman carries. It remains to be seen whether he will make his T20I debut in this series.
Here is India’s predicted lineup for the first T20I against New Zealand:
Ishan kishan: Left-handed players have a chance to open the scoring in T20Is. He has the ability to chase pitchers from the start. If India restarts their T20I approach, Kishan could be a great pick as the opener.
Shubman Gill: The 23-year-old tennis player is in impressive form this year. Gill played a key role in the Gujarat Titans’ IPL 2022 victory. He went on to beat his first international against Zimbabwe in an ODI. Team India could add Gill as opener along with Ishan.
Shreyas Iyer: The right-handed hitter played his last T20I game against South Africa, in October, where he was sent off for 1 point. However, he has long been seen as someone who can add stability in the batting order. Iyer will be one of the top picks for Team India against New Zealand.

Suryakumar Yadav: Suryakumar impressed everyone with his amazing shots at the recently concluded T20 2022 World Cup in Australia. In six games, the 32-year-old has accumulated 239 runs, with a strike rate of 189.68 and is also the third-highest scorer in the event.
Hardik Pandaya: The all-rounder has been in superb form during the T20 World Cup and has put in good performances both with the bat and the ball. In six matches, Pandya scored 128 runs and scored 8 goals. His 63 hitting 33 balls against England in the semi-final showed once again his ability to rescue the team from a predicament.

Yuzvendra Chahal: After sitting out the entire World Cup, Chahal will be looking to redeem himself and put on a strong showing in the T20Is against New Zealand.
