McLaren Artura is equipped with an all-new 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine, twin turbochargers and also hybrid powered.

McLaren Automotive has just launched the Artura supercar in the Indian car market, the price is up to $5.1 crore (old gallery). Costs will increase depending on the customization options the customer has selected.

The Artura is McLaren’s first mass-produced high-performance hybrid supercar. Its name is a combination of Art and Future.

McLaren Artura is equipped with an all-new 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine, twin turbochargers and also hybrid powered.

McLaren Artura’s engine comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power only to the rear wheels.

The McLaren Artura’s top speed is electronically limited to 330 km/h and it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just three seconds.

The McLaren Artura comes with four driving modes – E-mode, Comfort, Sport and Track. E mode is the default mode.

The Artura is the first model in the automaker’s lineup built on the all-new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA).

The Artura supercar is equipped with a 7.4 kWh battery pack for the e-motor, providing a range of 31 km.

McLaren says it has captured 25% market share of this segment after less than a year of operation in India and has sold more than 20 cars there.
